Styled shoot for local brand Wolf Wolf Kids

Our very first styled shoot

I love a brand who stays true to their name. Meet Wolf Wolf Kids, a local South African brand specializing in boys, girls clothing pieces as well as toys. They even have a section where you can select books as well. When I was offered the opportunity to work some magic, I took it with both hands. Being a local clothing brand for boys and girls, Wolf Wolf kids stays proudly South African. This styled shoot came to light with a few amazing collaborators. Not just an ordinary local styled shoot, but one with two adorable models, my son Hudson and Isabella.

“At Wolf Wolf we are all about stories and adventures! Each season we want to take you with us to explore a new destination and make a new friend!”

The concept

I knew that I wanted an outdoor shoot with a little Tee pee that would symbolize a safe haven for the wolfies, Hudson and Isabella. I contacted the lovely ladies from Tulip and Lilly, and together came up with a beautiful setting. If you think about wolves you think about the outdoors. Our amazing and very talented photographer, Nikki Oliver suggested doing the photo shoot at Magic Forrest. I honestly could not have picked a more perfect setting than that.

Wolf wolf kids, the brand

“Wolf Wolf was started in 2013 as a love-story between film-makers Waldemar Coetsee and Marle’ Drotsky. Drotsky soon became Coetsee and 4 years later, little baby Wolfgang joined our pack.”

What sets Wolf Wolf kids a part is the fact that each season they portray a different story that transpires through their clothing range and a new Wolf Wolf storybook – written & illustrated by the storytellers themselves – that teaches little Wolfies all about community building, new places, solving problems and making new friends.

“We would like you to BECOME PART OF OUR ADVENTURE, but we would also love to be PART OF YOURS.”

Wolf Wolf gives back

Wolf Wolf kids work hand in hand with the NGO, The Grace Factory. The mission of this NGO is to make sure that less fortunate and orphaned children also get offered the dignity of at least one set of clean clothing.
