Levi received the Happy Shapes Hedgehog Linkimal.

This is the perfect toy to grow with your baby. For younger babies they can spin, turn, toggle, and bat the activities on their buddy’s back, or press the light-up buttons to hear songs and phrases about colours, shapes, and numbers. For older babies, like Levi, whom have started walking, they can push or pull the hedgehog along for more fun music and sounds. Plus, as with the other Linkimals, when the Happy Shapes Hedgehog recognizes other Linkimals friends, they create a synchronized music and light show.
Learning
Levi’s teacher told ,me that he loves music time at school. Through music he is able to learn new words and phrases. And although he is not able to repeat it, he understands what the words and phrases mean. The hedgehog’s playful songs and phrases introduce your baby to shapes, numbers, and colours.
Gross Motor Skills
Levi can sit down play, he can also crawl and push, plus he can walk and pull his hedgehog along. This is perfect for the different developmental stages of your baby.
Fine Motor Skills
This is the skill that I am currently working on with Levi. Spinning the roller, turning the butterfly clicker, pressing the toggle, and batting the bead bar isn’t just for fun; these activities help strengthen your baby’s dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Plus and Bonus!
- Friendly, interactive hedgehog pull toy with lights, music, and songs
- Press the 5 light-up buttons to hear about shapes, colours, and numbers
- Bat-at roller and rolling the hedgehog along also activate songs, sounds, and phrases
- Collect additional Linkimals friends to see them interact! (Each sold separately and subject to availability.)
- For babies ages 9 months and older
- Retails for R649.90 at Toys R Us
Each Linkimal has their own features and benefits. I love the Hedgehog as it starts off with the basics and it has 15+ songs that Levi can listen to as he plays. He is able to touch and feel the different shapes and the is absolutely loving the lights. We are still working on him closing his own hand to pull his friend, so for the time being we fasten it loosely around his wrist to pull. I am definitely getting him the Musical Moose next for Christmas.
