Pips and Moo Review

Proud and local brand Pips and Moo specialises in children’s wooden toys, furniture and décor. Pips and Moo is a family business, where everything from designing, manufacturing, painting and packaging gets done. The brand was inspired by Pippa and Maddie and aspires to encourage outdoor, physical, social and imaginative play. Whenever I get asked to do a review on products, I like to immerse myself in the process, from ordering online, the delivery service and the quality and affordability of the products. Whenever I order online, things like easy navigation is very important to me. I found that the online ordering with Pips and Moo was very user friendly and time efficient. I was updated on my order through email, which also assures peace of mind. I ordered the grey cloud shelf, which is currently on sale here.

A sturdy yet elegant shelf, hand made out of solid wood , perfect for displays or putting a few things out of little hand’s reach.

I love the fact that the cloud shelf is very versatile. It can either be used on the floor in a reading nook, displaying some of your children’s favourite books or you can hang it up on the wall. The back of the shelf has two small hooks, which makes it very easy to hang up. Grey is also a colour that blends into any colour scheme, which also makes it a bonus. You can also use it as a display shelf and I have this idea of using it on Hudson’s school desk, where he can put pencil holders and other stationary items on it. It is definitely an investment that can be used long term . The dimensions are:

The second item that we reviewed was the Pips and Moo balance board. You can order it in either blue, dusty yellow, pink, green, grey lilac, turquoise and white. The wooden balance board is made from solid South African pine. Hudson fell in love with it straight away and he can not wait to show little Levi how it is done. With the warmer weather approaching, I am sure that Hudson will be having a lot of fun playing outdoors. The balance board is actually very lightweight and easy to carry around. I am quite excited to see how the boys improve their balance and strengthen their legs. It is very easy to clean as the paint and varnish that is used is water based and solvent free. It is also water and heat resistant and can be shipped nationwide.
