Cherish Beauty by nature - Keeping it Candid

The colder season is here, and as many of you know, most of us will be prone to dry skin. I have always struggled to find products that nourishes my skin during the winter months. When I received my Limited Edition Sandalwood and Rose products from Cherish, I was immediately excited. Two of my favorite scents combined!

Handcrafted with passion and care, they create nourishing and effective skincare solutions using high performing specialist oils, botanical extracts & pure essential oils that are 100% natural, organic wherever possible, and free from additives and chemicals. Their products contain no parabens, polyethylene glycols (PEG), petrochemicals, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS), artificial fragrances and colour additives.

Their products are cruelty-free and are only ever tested on humans, never on animals. They are very environmentally aware so their containers and packaging are recyclable wherever possible. They believe a product should be good for you and good for the Earth.

Their products are made on the beautiful KwaZulu Natal Coast in Durban, South Africa and are 100% non-toxic and eco-friendly. As a preservative they use Geogard Ultra, Ecocert approved, globally, for use in natural skin care products. However they do recommend that their products are kept in a cool, dark place and used within six months of opening. The products are stored in amber glass bottles to avoid ultraviolet deterioration and protect the aromatic and therapeutic properties of the essential oils.

Product review

I immediately fell in love with the scent of the products. The butter balm is absolute lush. It absorbs quickly and leaves your skin soft, smooth and silky to the touch. If you are like me in the morning, I need all my senses awake to function properly. Stepping into the shower with the shower gel from Cherish, was like taking me away to a secret rose garden. For that one minute shower my sense of smell took me away. The body oil is great for massaging, and I use it on my tired feet before bed.
