It can not just be me. But I feel like the older your little one gets, the more your bath time routine changes. When Hudson was a teeny tiny baby, he did not really have a say or could not run away and hide when it was bath time. Bath time was so much easier. It took a while to get into the routine, but when he was one month old, we had it locked down to the T! Hudson loves bath time, but sometimes you have to sell the idea to him. If it was up to him he would drag all his toys in the bath with him and it would become a never ending bath play experience. The one thing that has not changed since he was a new born, is giving him an after bath massage. I did a baby massage course with him when he was a few weeks old and I have always found that giving him a massage before bed time relaxes him, and he is also much more calmer after having bubble fights in the bath with Spiderman and his trucks.
Chicco Massage Oil
Most recently I have started the Chicco Massage Oil on Hudson after his bath. The formula contains rice bran oil, that leaves the skin smooth and velvety soft. It is also recommended to use in removing cradle cap. I love an oil that is quickly absorbed in the skin, and this oil does exactly that. It contains no preservatives or parabens. Nor any dyes and is alcohol free. Can be used on sensitive skin as its been clinically tested and formulated to minimise the risk of skin allergies. All you need is just a small amount of oil; warm it up between your hands and gently massage your little ones skin. I always start at the bottom of his feet, then legs, then hands and arms and then move onto his shoulders, chest and tummy and then his back.
Chicco Lullaby Sheep
It is a multi-tech toy in the character of a gorgeous sheep. It has a soft plastic belly of a night light with automatic change of colour. You can also record your voice for your little one to play back. The sensor also automatically senses sound when baby or little one stirs and starts playing lullaby’s to comfort your little one. It plays 30 minutes of Classical, Jazz and New Age Music. Hudson instantly took a liking to his new best friend, and insists that Chicco climbs into bed with him at night. He loves how the colors change, and has even started counting the stars he sees, and he recognizes the colors as well. A great little companion for him. It is suitable from birth and it uses batteries. I love the function where I can record my own lullaby for him that I made up and sang to him from newborn age. And of course as soon as he stirs, the music starts to play and calms him down again.
